Provide valuable support to the Calaveras Adult Tutoring Program

Provide improvements to our library facilities:
	New larger facilities are needed at Angels Camp, Copperopolis, Valley Springs
	and West Point
	Potential improvements at the Central Library include a separate teen area and
	outdoor patio reading room, new chairs for the small Conference Room
	Indoor and outdoor signage is needed at all library locations
	Adding shelving and replacing old furnishings

Provide for special programming:
	Summer Reading Program
	Author visits
	Story hours and children’s craft programs at all locations)
	Other programming opportunities for children and adults

Provide enhancement to the county library collection:
	Provide increased financial support to purchase more books, dvd’s, unabridged
	audio books and E-books
	Provide for online newspaper and reference subscription databases including
	genealogy
	Provide funding for duplicate copies of materials needed for book club
	discussions

Provide for new technologies including wireless Internet at each library location




Become a Friend of the Calaveras County Library. (Send in the contribution form below)

Donate your books, videos and DVD’s to the Library. Drop them off at any of the 8 libraries within Calaveras County. Your donation may be added to the library collection or given to the Friends of the Library for their sales. Questions about book donations can be directed to (209) 754-6701.

Make a memorial contribution or a contribution in honor of a special occasion such as a birthday, graduation, holiday, or anniversary. A gift plate recognizing the donor and honoree will be placed in the book of your choice

Remember the Friends of the Library in your estate planning. The Friends might be named in your will or charitable trust or listed as a beneficiary in an insurance policy. Consider a charitable gift of stocks, bonds, shares in mutual funds and other forms of investment securities.
